Release Notes

This year’s OS updates (v26) will be released by Apple later today, so here’s an update on my apps as well!

Yoink for Mac v3.6.102 πŸ”—

Yoink looks and runs beautifully on macOS 26 Tahoe and continues to be there for all your drag and drop needs!

Yoink for iPhone and iPad v2.5.2 πŸ”—

The same goes for Yoink for iPhone and iPad – it shines on iOS 26 and will continue to be your file and snippet companion, and versatile clipboard monitor!

ScreenFloat for Mac v2.3.3 πŸ”—

ScreenFloat brings its screen capture all-rounder companion powers to macOS Tahoe. From a new Shots Browser design for Liquid Glass to useful Control Widgets that give you quick access to ScreenFloat’s capture functionality, the app is ready for the new OS.

DeskMat v1.2 πŸ”—

DeskMat covers your messy Desktop instantly. On macOS Tahoe, now also from the comfort of your Control Center.
In addition, there’s a new setting to keep Desktop Widgets visible and only hide file icons (available on macOS 14 and newer).

Transloader v3.1.7 πŸ”—

Transloader lets you start and manage downloads on your Macs, remotely from your iPhone, iPad, and other Macs, and continues to do so on iOS, iPadOS and macOS 26.

Tameno v1.2.1 πŸ”—

Tameno taps you repeatedly in intervals for stretching, workouts, exercises, meditation, yoga, the 20-20-20 rule, and so much more! And now does it better on mac- , watch-, i-, iPad-, and tvOS.

My other apps (like Glimpses, Citator, Upsies, BackLog and SiriMote) will receive updates soon, too.

DeskMat v1.1 – the biggest upgrade to the app since it’s initial release a month ago – is now available on the Mac App Store and my website and brings a couple of cool new features I think you’ll like!

With DeskMat, you cover the mess of files and folders on your Desktop with a single click – and show them again in just the same way.
It makes for cleaner streams, screen sharing, video conferencing, and distraction-free work!

DeskMat Functionality

  • Cover your Desktop with the push of a button
    – If you have multiple screens, you can hide all or individual Desktops
  • Cover your Desktops with a keyboard shortcut
  • Cover your Desktops automatically
    – Specify apps that should trigger DeskMat automatically when you launch them or make them frontmost
  • The wallpaper of your choice
    – Use your current wallpapers as the cover, a solid color, custom images, or just blur the Desktop using various shades and appearances

What’s New in DeskMat v1.1?

  • Support for Live/Dynamic Wallpapers
You can now make DeskMat mirror your wallpaper live – perfect if you use a dynamic wallpaper that changes throughout the day, or if you have your Desktop shuffle through different wallpapers in an interval.
  • Support for Focus modes
In addition to Auto-Triggers for apps, where DeskMat automatically covers your Desktop when apps you specify launch, or come to the foreground, you can now set up DeskMat to cover your Desktop when you activate a Focus mode.

On the Mac App Store Soon!

I goofed. I had a build of DeskMat approved and ready to go on the Mac App Store for release, but I discovered a bug and thought I’d take the risk to fix it, since the first submission went rather quickly and smoothly. I thought I still had time – (at that time more than a week).
Well, of course now the app is sitting “In Review”, and has been for over 6 days, without any notice on what’s going on, even though I got an expedited review, and inquired subsequently about what the holdup was (got a non-informative response, as always).
Anyway, I’m positive this will get sorted in time, I’ll keep bugging App Review about a status update and hopefully have DeskMat available on the Mac App Store soon. In the meantime, there’s the 28-day trial, and you can purchase it on my website, as described above.
My apologies for the inconvenience.

Update: It’s now available on the Mac App Store : )
